How To Help Yourself and Others

Many times, I think we are not conscious of what we say, do or read.Get up in the morning, turn on the news, read the newspaper, and then start the rest of the day.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the morning information reel reported good news? Something that left us inspired, motivated and hopeful as we venture out into our day?

I can't say that I see it often but I am hopeful that it will become a bigger reality in the future.

It has been said that you are what you think about. Have you heard this before?

So if the morning messages are more negative than positive...

What are we thinking about?

Something Positive? Something Uplifting, Loving?

Or... are we thinking of something negative?

How do you think negative thinking impacts your day and the people you have interactions with?

It does come down to conscious and unconscious choices. If negativity is swirling in your mind first thing in the morning, mayI suggest that you become aware of how you come across to others as you go through your day.

Do people think you have a bad attitude, see you as cranky, depressed, irritable, not too easy to be around?

If so, why not try something new?

What Do I Do?

Each morning I read from the quotation sections for at least 15 minutes. I have to do this to prepare myself intellectuallyand emotionally for whatever life unfolds with today. The energy that jumps off the web pages is powerful and helps meto move past the negative ( I can't change what has happened anyway ) and to focus on the positive for the rest of the day.Who knows? Maybe my morning ritual could be helpful for you too.

Here is a question to ask yourself:

Could you decide to read or listen to positive messages each morning before your day begins?

What might happen to your life and relationships if you bombarded your mind with possibilities of wonder, courage, kindness, and love in your heart for the world?

I suspect others would notice a change, a difference in attitude.

Why not try it? You have nothing to lose except some negativity and every bit helps!

Have a wonderful day ahead!

Love and blessings,
Marlene
