The most beautiful thing about surrendering is that it's not even something you have to do. It's just a lot of things you decide to stop doing! Once we see how much energy and effort we waste on clinging, fighting, controlling, forcing, resisting, pushing and pulling and decide that all of this just gets us nothing but misery, it really isn't that difficult to stop doing it. To just let-go a bit, to surrender... Eckhart Tolle says "surrender is the simple but profound wisdom of yielding to, rather than opposing, the flow of life". Love, Life, God, Nature and Destiny are all forces infinitely wiser and more powerful than any individual-ego and so to fight against or to resist is ultimately pointless, you can't win. So if you can't beat them join them - and the only way to do this is to surrender!
