LEARNING

Everybody tells you there is no "I" in team... but when you're on a team you have to remember that yourcontributions make a big difference to that team. Without you, they might not be half as good as they would be with you. This goes for any kind of team too, not just sports teams! :)

This verse has helped me through a lot of tough times. The teenage years can be the tough, and there arethose times when you feel so alone. You must know that you are not alone though, and that God is always with you. Just reach out your hand of faith, and he will guide you through anything. When I was starting to fall apart, I realized they were putting me out, and regained my power and becamebigger and better then before.

I was in one of these cases once where people controlled my mind and what I did but then I got out of it and started to lead my own life. Now I am happy and have a lot of friends. I thought nobody would want to be friends if I wasn't with them, but I was wrong. Everyone was proud that I got away and now I have a lot of friends!! Even the boys are being nice to me!!! I have a friend who is always coming to me with her relationship issues. I don't tell her what to do; I just listenand give her simple words of wisdom that she may use. Sometimes, an hour later, I don't even remember whatI said. It's been one month since her break up and she called me today. She said, "Do you remember whenyou told me that I had already gone to Shea, not hoping that he wouldn't break my heart, but hoping he wouldpiece it back together? Cuz I was just thinking about that and you were right." Well, I don't know about anyoneelse, but I thought that that was one of the smartest things that I had ever said to her.
