"People tell us not to look back, but sometimes we have to. This is so we can see how beautiful the canvas of our life has become. Remember all the little splotches and smears of paint - all the little mistakes we made, won't matter in the end, not when you see the whole big beautiful picture."

"Education is not the piling on of learning, information, data, facts, skills, or abilities--that's training or instruction--but is rather a making visible what is hidden as a seed... To be educated, a person doesn't have to know much or be informed, but he or she does have to have been exposed vulnerably to the transformative events of an engaged human life...One of the greatest problems of our time is that many are schooled but few are educated."
Thomas Moore
"The entire object of TRUE EDUCATION is to make people not merely do the right things, but enjoy them; not merely industrious, but to love industry; not merely learned, but to love knowledge; not merely pure, but to love purity; not merely just, but to hunger and thirst after justice."
John Ruskin
"The mark of a well educated person is not necessarily in knowing all the answers, butin knowing where to find them."

"Education is not a problem. Education is an opportunity."

Silence does not always mean guilt, for many it is the best way of comfort."

Every time I stay quiet, people automatically assume that it's my fault. But what they don't realize is that I simply don't care to talk about something, especially when it doesn't concern me.
