This is SGT. Nathan Meyer, I'm currently deployed in Iraq and my job as a military police officer requires me to be extremely professional and to encourage my soldiers.

I am with the 342nd Military Police Co. from Columbus, Ohio and our mission is called PTT (Police Transitioning Team), which means we leave the "wire" everyday and train Iraqi police so that they can obtain a first line of defense against terrorists or criminals.

Our soldiers risk IED attacks, having grenades thrown at their trucks, and suicide vehicles day in and day out and see things no person would ever imagine and they do it for their families, friends, and fellow citizens.

We range from ages 18-45 and have a variety of personalities and people. All feel that we have a 'band of brother' love and would give his life for the person sitting next to him/her. All my brothers in arms here with me believe what we fight for everyday.

Numerous soldiers have came to me to submit some of the quotes or encouraging things I speak before our team convoys out on missions and I picked this one, short, sweet, and to the point.
